Ejemplo: Last year, I wanted to post a photo from my birthday party on Instagram. However, I realized that the photo included some of my friends without their permission. I decided not to share it because I believe in respecting other people's privacy. According to netiquette rules, we should 'Remember the human' and 'Respect other people's privacy.' If I had posted that photo without asking my friends first, I would have violated their privacy and they might have felt uncomfortable. Instead, I asked them for permission and only shared the photo after they agreed. This way, I protected their privacy and showed respect for them online. -
Ejemplo: I think that if young people did not respect others' privacy on social media, there would be serious consequences. First, cyberbullying could increase because people could share embarrassing photos or personal information about others without permission. This would harm people's emotional health and their reputation. Second, trust between friends and family members would decrease because nobody would feel safe sharing their personal life online. I believe the best strategy to improve this situation would be to create awareness campaigns in schools about netiquette and digital citizenship. If we educated students about the importance of respecting privacy, we could prevent many problems. Additionally, social media platforms should implement stronger privacy settings to protect users' information. -
Ejemplo: First, I would include the rule 'Respect other people's privacy' because this is the foundation for a safe online environment. For example, you should not share someone's phone number or home address on social media without their permission. Second, 'Remember the human' is important because behind every screen there is a real person with feelings. If you would not say something face-to-face, you should not post it online. Third, 'Know where you are in cyberspace' helps people understand that their posts can be seen by many people. I believe if a student posts a negative comment about their teacher on a public platform, they should remember that anyone can see it, including the teacher. These rules are essential because they promote respect and create a safer digital space for everyone in our school community.
