Health services
Servicios de salud. Conjunto de servicios médicos y de atención que ofrece una comunidad o institución. Example: The health services in our town include a doctor's office, a laboratory, and a dental clinic.
Doctor's appointment
Cita con el médico. Una reunión programada con un doctor para revisar la salud. Example: I have a doctor's appointment next Monday at 3 p.m.
X-rays
Radiografías. Imágenes del interior del cuerpo tomadas con radiación para diagnosticar enfermedades. Example: The doctor ordered X-rays to check if my arm was broken.
Laboratory
Laboratorio. Lugar donde se realizan pruebas de sangre y otros análisis médicos. Example: They sent my blood sample to the laboratory for testing.
Dentist
Dentista. Profesional de la salud que atiende los dientes y la boca. Example: I visit the dentist twice a year for a check-up.
I have a complaint to make
Tengo una queja que hacer. Expresión para iniciar una reclamación formal sobre un servicio o experiencia negativa. Example: I have a complaint to make about the waiting time at the clinic.
On the other hand
Por otro lado. Expresión para presentar un punto de vista alternativo o una desventaja al comparar opciones. Example: This hospital is expensive, but on the other hand, it has the best doctors.
According to
Según / De acuerdo con. Expresión para citar una fuente o reportar lo que alguien ha dicho. Example: According to the health report, our community needs more medical services.
